AlgoStack Africa
Launch your sportsbook with a plan your team can execute
AlgoStack Africa helps you choose what to launch, prepare the people and systems, and get through the first operating period. That work can include USSDbet, our web and USSD sportsbook platform.
If you already have a platform or suppliers, we start there. The plan needs to show what they will deliver, what your team must do and where you need our help.
Begin with the decisions that determine the launch
A launch date depends on more than software delivery. We start with your target country, licence position, products, team, budget and supplier commitments to find out what is ready and what could hold up the launch.
Some questions need an answer from a lawyer, payment provider or mobile network. We put those tasks in the plan with an owner instead of hiding them inside a delivery estimate.
What the launch plan covers
| Workstream | What we work through with your team |
|---|---|
| Product and platform | The initial product scope, customer channels and essential integrations |
| Market dependencies | Required confirmations, external lead times and accountable owners |
| Payments | Collection and payout arrangements, reconciliation, escalation and funding responsibilities |
| Team readiness | Who handles customer issues, payment exceptions, content, reporting and supplier coordination |
| Go-to-market | Target customers, suitable channels, spending assumptions and a measured initial rollout |
| Early operations | Review cadence, performance definitions and the agreed support period |
GTM planning is a set of choices, not a campaign calendar
We work through how customers will discover the brand, register, deposit and return. For each step, we agree who will do the work, what it will cost and how the team will judge the result.
That may mean launching with fewer products or channels than first planned. A smaller start gives the team a chance to learn before committing more money.
Any proposed marketing channel must be suitable for the applicable advertising and responsible-gambling requirements. A channel being technically available is not evidence that a particular campaign is permitted.
Agree how launch readiness will be demonstrated
Before launch, we agree what the platform and team must demonstrate. A successful bet is one part of that. The team also needs to handle a payment with no confirmed result, a withdrawal requiring review or a supplier interruption.
For each case, establish what the customer sees, who acts and how the team knows the issue is resolved. If nobody owns that work, it is not ready to be left until after launch.
Stay involved through early operations
Once the business is live, real customer activity starts to replace the assumptions in the plan. We help your team review the results, deal with problems and decide what needs to change.
The work can cover payments, customer-support routines and whether each channel earns enough to justify its costs. We agree the tasks, availability and duration in writing, including what is covered by the platform fee and what is priced separately.
What to bring to the first working session
- Your target market and current licensing or preparation stage.
- The products and customer channels you intend to launch.
- Existing platform, data-feed, payment and telecom arrangements.
- The team already available and the roles still unfilled.
- Your proposed launch date, spending assumptions and main uncertainties.
You do not need a finished business plan to begin. You do need a clear account of what has been decided and what has not.
What remains your responsibility?
The operator retains responsibility for its business, licences, capital and decisions unless a specific responsibility is expressly assigned otherwise. Specialist advisers and suppliers remain responsible for their contracted work. We do not present launch planning as a substitute for regulatory approval or professional legal advice.
For the decision framework behind the engagement, read how to build a sportsbook launch plan. For product onboarding, see launching with USSDbet.
Work through the gaps in your launch plan
If you know what you want to launch but not how the remaining work fits together, start there. Bring your target country, the agreements already in place and the decisions still open. We can discuss the work, the owners and where AlgoStack should be involved.
