AlgoStack Africa
Work on the operation, not just the software
AlgoStack Africa works alongside sportsbook teams on payments, daily operating routines and commercial reporting. We start with the problem you need to solve and the people already doing the work.
You may be launching with USSDbet or improving a business that uses another platform. In either case, we first establish what is going wrong before recommending a change to the software.
Start with one operating question that matters
Your team may have plenty of reports and still struggle to explain a delayed payment or decide whether a campaign is worth its cost.
We start with the records behind that question. For a payment problem, that could mean the unresolved transactions and the provider's statement. For a spending decision, it could mean customer activity, invoices and the costs assigned to that channel. If the records are incomplete, we first work on making them dependable.
Areas we can scope together
Payments. Follow a transaction from the request to its confirmed result. Assign unresolved items and establish when your team needs to involve the provider.
Daily routines. Agree who reviews the operating position, who follows up open issues and how finance, support and technology work together on them.
Channel performance. Examine what customers do after registering and what it costs to serve them. Compare web and USSD using the same definitions rather than assuming one is always better.
Commercial reporting. Separate money wagered, gaming revenue, contribution after defined costs and cash. The team needs to know which number answers the spending question in front of it.
Changes. When a product, supplier or confirmed regulatory requirement changes, assign the work, agree approvals and record how completion will be checked. Legal interpretation remains with the appropriate advisers.
What working together looks like
Before work starts, we agree what we will do, who we will work with and when we will be available. We also agree how urgent issues reach us and how often we review progress with your team.
As the work continues, we keep a record of the issue, the evidence and the next person responsible. This helps the team follow a problem even when it passes between departments or suppliers.
At the agreed review point, we assess what has improved and what still needs work. We then decide together whether further involvement is needed.
Measure improvements that matter to the business
| Question | Useful evidence to define together |
|---|---|
| Are customers receiving their money as expected? | Withdrawal completion time, unresolved value and reasons for delay |
| Are payment issues being closed? | Exception count and value by age, provider and responsible owner |
| Is acquisition spending producing useful activity? | Clearly defined funded cohorts and associated acquisition costs |
| Which channels justify their operating cost? | Channel activity and contribution with an explicit allocation method |
| Can management trust the report? | Agreed definitions, reconciled inputs and visible unresolved differences |
These are example areas of measurement, not claims that we have achieved a particular improvement for every customer. Targets need a baseline and a scope your team can influence.
We work toward profitability; we do not guarantee it
A platform can be available while the business loses money. Equally, a period of stronger gaming revenue can conceal higher acquisition costs or a payment backlog.
Our role is to help you identify those distinctions and act on the work within the engagement. Demand, competition, regulation, capital and management decisions continue to affect the outcome.
Does the partnership replace our team?
Not by default. We work alongside your team and agree specific responsibilities. Do not assume that trading, customer support, compliance management or full business operation is included unless it is expressly in scope.
Do we have to use USSDbet?
Not for every engagement. We can discuss a scoped operating problem on an existing platform. If the technology prevents the required work, we identify that constraint before recommending a change.
Read the sportsbook operations playbook for a practical starting framework.
Start with the problem your team needs to resolve
You do not need to arrive with a request for a new platform. Bring one operating problem, such as old payment issues or a report that does not explain where money is going, and tell us what your team has already tried.
We can then discuss what needs investigating, who should be involved and the help AlgoStack can provide. Describe the records available; do not send customer data with the initial enquiry.
